Think Phrasing will give you a better understanding of how rhythm works!

Think Phrasing is a book consisting of 16 play along loops for drummers.
Unlike other books, each track lasts for 3 minutes giving you lots of time to work with
the exercise presented on each track.

Each loop lasts for 4 bars. In the the 4th bar you have a target note to phrase with. As you work thorough each loop, the target note shifts slightly forward.
This will enhance not only your drumming but also your understanding of rhythm.

If you don't know what this means, you will by the end of the book! Listen to the samples below in order and you'll understand what this is all about.

show you alternative ways to approach phrasing the target note.
You'll learn new techniques, new fills, and perhaps gain a new understanding of how
you think about your playing.

and additionally, benefit you by forcing you to play faster to increase your
competence.

This book will also help you learn to read music. Each MP3 track will have a
corresponding page where you will see how the written music would be
presented to a professional drummer. You will then see different interpretations
of that music written out in full notation. Of course you should try to invent your
own interpretations too. The space after the target phrase allows you to do this.
